Definition of Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information transmitted from the website to the user's device in the form of small text files that allow the site to store data to make it accessible upon subsequent user access.

Cookies are divided into two categories:

  • First-party cookies, which are created, deleted, and modified directly by the visited site.
  • Third-party cookies, which are created by other sites that own content, such as advertisements, images, social buttons, or other services, to which one connects via a link on the site being visited.

Cookies can be:

  • Temporary (e.g., session cookies) which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Permanent, which remain available until explicitly deleted by the user or until their natural expiry, set by the site itself.

This site uses the following categories of cookies:

  • Technical cookies, used solely for the purpose of transmitting an electronic communication, to ensure the correct display of the site and navigation within it. Furthermore, they allow distinguishing between various connected users to provide a requested service to the correct user (Login), and for site security reasons. Some of these cookies are deleted when the browser is closed (session cookies), others have a longer duration (such as the cookie necessary to retain user consent regarding the use of cookies, which lasts 1 year).
    Consent is not required for these cookies;
  • Analytics cookies, used directly by the site operator to collect information, in an aggregated form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. They are assimilated to technical cookies because the service is anonymized.

By clicking OK on the banner displayed upon first access to the site or by browsing the site, you are asked to expressly consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies, and in particular to the recording of such cookies on your device for the purposes indicated above, or to access information on your device via cookies.

Profiling cookies

Disabling cookies

The user can refuse the use of cookies and can revoke previously given consent at any time. Since cookies are linked to the browser used, THEY CAN BE DISABLED DIRECTLY FROM THE BROWSER, thus refusing/revoking consent to the use of cookies, or via the banner at the bottom of the page.

DISABLING COOKIES MAY PREVENT THE CORRECT USE OF CERTAIN SITE FUNCTIONS, in particular, services provided by third parties may not be accessible, and therefore may not be viewable.

Disabling cookies also prevents you from being shown any service messages only once, or from knowing if you are a new user or a user who has already visited the site.

Third-party cookies

This site also acts as an intermediary for third-party cookies (such as social network buttons), used to provide additional services and functionalities to visitors and to simplify the use of the site itself, or to provide personalized advertising.Β

This site has no control over their cookies, which are entirely managed by third parties, and has no access to the information collected through said cookies.Β

Information on the use of these cookies and their purposes, as well as on how to possibly disable them, is provided directly by the third parties.

It should be remembered that, generally, user tracking does not involve user identification, unless the User is already registered for the service and is also already logged in, in which case it is understood that the User has already expressed their consent directly to the third party when registering for the relevant service (e.g., Facebook).
